Getting Started with Hosting Game Servers

Step One - Signing Up

Accounts are free to create and a credit card is not required to try out our game servers. Get started with us by signing up only a valid e-mail address is needed.

See our supported games page for a list of game servers currently supported by us.

Confirm your e-mail by clicking the confirmation link sent to your e-mail's inbox. If you do not see a verification e-mail in your inbox after registering, please check your spam folder. If you still do not see anything after waiting 5 minutes please e-mail us at

After you complete your verification, login into your account!

Step Two - Build a Service

Once you have signed up and are logged in, select Build Service from the left side menu you should see the following page below.

Select from the available options the service you wish to start hosting with us. Pricing details for our services can be found on our pricing page.

Step Three - Configure Service

Once you have created your service, you will be redirected to your account's dashboard.

Manage Your Service

Your account dashboard shows you news notifications from RentaServer, Inc. as well as information about the status of your services.

From your account dashboard, select the service you wish to manage.

Managing Game Servers

Your Game Server's dashboard will show you critical information, notifications, and help you modify your Game Server.

  • The state of your Game Server can be changed through the Start, Stop, Restart, or Update buttons.
  • Game Server command lines and configurations can be edited through the Game Server tab.
  • Server resource statistics can be viewed through the Server Statistics tab.
  • Changing service nicknames, changing hosted games, factory wiping, and canceling your subscription can be done through the Settings tab.

If the Game Server tab is insufficient for your configuration needs, a SSH/SFTP Client can be used to connect directly to your game server. SSH/SFTP is currently unavailable for Game Server Trials.

If you are an advanced user you can also create a SteamCMD or Manually Managed game server.
